Dr. Reinhorn is a board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a father, husband, and swimmer. We perform surgery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, a highly rated hospital in Newton, MA just 10 miles outside of Boston. The practice services the entire New England region.
Over his career has developed expertise in the surgical treatment of pilonidal disease, inguinal hernia and umbilical hernia. He has been performing the “Cleft-lift” or “Bascom flap” procedure since 2007. While no formal training after surgical residency is required to become a pilonidal surgeon, as a result of his 20 years of experience focusing on these conditions, he has become expert in both.
